Singing Lessons
When you study Singing with me, we will have lots of fun exploring your voice. 

We work in your preferred style of music (classical, music theatre or pop). Sometimes we choose songs together for you to learn, sometimes you bring song requests to work on in the lesson and sometimes I suggest a song that I think will suit your voice or that will help you develop a specific area of your vocal technique.

The lessons go at your pace and we work towards your musical goals.

I am here to teach you the skills and techniques that will level up your singing.

Here are some of the other things we will do in our Singing Lessons together to help you become the singer you want to be:
  • Vocal exercises to warm up your voice and build your vocal technique (e.g. vocal projection, breath control, learning how to place your voice to sing in age appropriate, genre specific vocal qualities - 'twang', 'legit', 'belting' etc.)
  • Rhythm games & music reading activities to develop your musicianship skills so you can communicate with other musicians
  • Acting through song to enable you to connect with your audience and take them on an emotional journey through your songs
  • Stage presence & stagecraft so you are confident on stage 
  • Ad. libs/riffs/ornaments so you can put your own stamp on your songs
  • Sight singing at your level to improve your intonation/pitching accuracy. Once you've begun developing this skill, you will be able to to learn songs more quickly, efficiently and independently 

*You will need to commit to regular singing practise 
in between lessons 
on your songs, singing tasks and challenges 
to achieve the progress that you desire.

In addition to teaching singers how to develop a healthy vocal technique, I have a wealth of experience in helping my students prepare for graded singing examinations:
